St. Thomas and the USVI is consistently ranked as the best beaches in the Caribbean. Here you see Magens Bay that is nestled right behind Crosswinds Villa and provides some of the best snorkeling, fishing, and sightseeing on the island. One morning you could be watching dolphins jumping out of the water and the next morning you could see a super yacht anchoring off for the weekend.
Rich in history and culture.
Founded in 1666 by the Danish, the original capital of St. Thomas was named “Taphus” or better translated as, “Beer house.” Shortly after they renamed the capital to Charlotte Amalie, if you ask us, the original name was better. You will experience walking the same steps as Pirates (who used the deep water port many years ago) and Christopher Columbus when he arrived on St. Thomas in 1493.
Blackbeard’s Castle
Originally constructed by the Danish as a watch tour, Blackbeard’s Castle serves as one of the best spots to discover original architecture on the island.
